I had survived the exchange of student life when the sky boundary is coming to an end, and the death rate is a new high in Spain.

A real story of me.

The nine-day live with Coronavirus pandemic incredibly in Spain.

Day One: From Land

Before I had gone to the European country the first time, I had no idea what European food and taste would be like.

When I landed on March 8th, 2020, the first meal in Barcelona is a hamburger set with a cola can.

Exactly, I went alone.

At that moment, Coronavirus infection is coming up with thousands of daily cases in Spain.

I looked around my seat and found that many people were hanging out here.

What is COVID-19?
What about COVID-19 in their mind? I questioned.

WHO said that Coronavirus is a virus which impacts to human respiratory system with its symptoms from common flu to SARS.

Day Three: To Local

My friends and I went to a local restaurant to experience European meals for the first time we landed.

According to a review score, El Xampanyet is a place we chose.

It tastes me in a different view from Eastern where I came.

My parents and friends worried about me so much because I traveled alone and severe COVID-19 pandemic in the area.

I said it would be okay here.

I went to the supermarket near my place. People still went outside without mask while it was out of stock everywhere in the country I came.

I asked my local friends here about wearing a mask here. They shared that a cover is for those persons who sicked.

I just saw a bit different way of thinking between eastern and western people.

Even if it is different in terms of self-help lifestyle, I still had fun here :)

Day Five: Experiment

According to local news, daily cases increased dramatically in Spain.

It was a triple time from day one I landed now.

What will happen if I wear a mask on the street? I thought.

I tried to wear a mask when going to university and observed a reaction then.

Exactly, people are scared of me. They thought that I sicked so severely.

They reacted to walk away from me immediately; they noticed a mask on my face.

Luckily, nobody hurts me :)

My classmates traveled back to their countries, both Europe and America.

People care for their life; their family is a step-up level of those feelings.

Day Seven: Commitment

Catalan Government, the Spanish government, announced people to stay home for five-teen days.

People are allowed to go out shopping for medicine and the necessary products only.

It affected both work and study instantly. My university closed.

All classes turned from offline to be online.

A promising sign was coming; I saw people started to wear a mask on the street.

The new cases are higher. :(

Day Nine: Be Back Home

I don’t know how to say when it was time to fly back to my hometown.

I glad to see my family, on the other heart, I think it is going to be better soon!?

However, I had to be back because of limited flight to Thailand.

There is still no sign to reschedule again, and I may have to fly back home.

When will the Corona end?

I am curious about this question too.

How long it will take time to be back to normal.

Is Coronavirus weakening?

I pray for everyone in every place in the world to be safe.
